LICORICE ROOT ANANTA HERBAL SYRUP

Instructions for use

Composition:

5 ml of syrup contain Licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza extractum siccum) ((4,0-5,0): 1) (extractant-water) (equivalent to 8% of 18β-glycyrrhizic acid) - 250 mg.

Excipients: sugar, sorbitol (E420), propylene glycol (E1520), sodium benzoate (E211), xanthan gum (E415), menthol, purified water.

Characteristics of active ingredients:

(Glycyrrhiza extractum siccum)

Composition: triterpene saponins (23%) - glycyrrhizin and glycyrrhizic acid and its aglucone - glycerytinic acid. Triterpenes include glyceretol, glabrolide, licoric acid and liquiouric acid.

The expectorant effect of licorice is due to glycyrrhizin, which stimulates the activity of ciliated epithelium of the trachea and bronchi, and enhances the secretory function of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. 

Recommendations for use:

The syrup can be recommended as a source of biologically active substances of herbal origin. It promotes normalization of respiratory tract functioning and cough attenuation. 

It is recommended to consult a physician before use.

Contraindication: hypersensitivity to the components, children under 1 years of age, pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions for use: contains sugar, which should be taken into consideration in diabetic patients.

Method of administration: The syrup is used orally 3-4 times a day after meals.

Do not dilute the syrup before use. But once you take it, drink plenty of fluids (tea or warm water).

Adults and children over 12 years of age – 15 ml (or 1 tablespoon) for 1 intake.

Children of 10-12 years of age – 7.5-10 ml (or 1 dessertspoon) for 1 intake.

Children of 7-9 years of age – 5-7.5 ml (1-1.5 teaspoon) for 1 intake.

Children of 4-6 years of age – 2.5-5 ml (or 1/2-1 teaspoon) for 1 intake.

Children of 1-3 years of age – 2.5 ml (or 1/2 teaspoon) for 1 intake.

Duration of use: 5-7 days. The further period of use and possibility of repeated courses of treatment should be discussed with your doctor.

Energy value per 100 ml of the product: 223.00 kcal (932.14 kJ).

Release form: herbal syrup 100 ml in a flask.

Storage conditions: Store in the original manufacturer's package at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf life: 3 years from manufacturing date.
