The report has shown current approaches to the diagnosis and correction of obstipation syndrome (constipation) in patients with functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (according to the latest Roman criteria IV).

In particular, Igor Nikolayevich emphasized on the fact that constipation is a multifaceted problem that includes not only a reduced frequency of defecation, but also intestinal microbiocenosis disorder, body intoxication, slow absorption, reduced vitamins synthesis and low local and general immunity.

Skrypnik Igor Nikolaevich emphasized on the unique combination of Lactofor®, which has a lot of advantages among other constipation remedies:

  1. Lactofor® has a unique composition containing 5 ingredients (lactitol, simethicone, Lactobacillus acidophilus, folic acid and vitamin B12). Thanks to such combination Lactofor® solves the problem of constipation in patients with functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.
  2. Lactofor® is a unique combination in Ukraine that contains lactitol – a new representative of osmotic laxatives, which has a wide range of properties (mild laxative, prebiotic and antitoxic effects);
  3. Lactofor® is well tolerated and is approved for use in children over 6 years of age.
  4. Lactofor® is manufactured in user-friendly sachets.

The speaker also emphasized on the dosage regimen of Lactofor® and the need to follow the recommended course to obtain a sustainable result.

The report aroused great interest and professional discussion among the participants.
