On March 16-17, 2023, the company "Ananta Medicare Ukraine" participated in a two-day seminar in the online format "Women's health from A to Z. Obstetrics and gynecological endocrinology".

Among many reports, Professor NosenkoOlenaMykolaivna presented a report on the topic "Phytopreparations for women's health".

OlenaMykolaivna spoke about important data in the treatment of women's diseases with herbal preparations, using the example of Femimens and Femicycle.

The professor presented a comparative table of many herbal preparations on the market of Ukraine, and analysed examples of clinical cases wherein the prescription of Femimens and Femicycle is required.

The following data are highlighted in the report:

Ø Phytopreparations are often used as an alternative to traditional pharmacological therapy.

Ø Gynaecological disorders (such as abnormal uterine bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, and dysmenorrhea) and menopausal symptoms are conditions where pharmacological therapy can have serious side effects, so many women prefer to use herbal remedies to alleviate these symptoms.

Ø Phytopreparations are also used as adjuvant therapy in hyperproliferative diseases of the genitals and mammary gland.

Ø  Phytopreparations, in contrast to synthetic chemical drugs, have a mild, moderate and natural (physiological) effect on the body,  as well as a gradual but stable therapeutic effect.

Ø  Phytopreparations have few or practically no contraindications. 

Ø  Phytopreparations have relatively low toxicity.

Ø  Due to these properties, natural preparations are relatively safe. At the same time, herbal preparations are highly effective because they have high biological activity.

Ø  Phytopreparations, unlike synthetic drugs, do not cause addiction, and have higher bioavailability due to the affinity of plant substances to the human body.
