Cannabidiol doesn't help with arthritis pain
In patients with hand osteoarthritis or psoriatic arthritis cannabidiol (CBD) did not relieve the pain intense. Scientists attribute this to the fact that CBD was used without the addition of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a common cannabis compound that differs from cannabidiol by its psychotropic effects.
In a recent online survey, 62% of respondents reported using cannabidiol to treat chronic pain as well as joint pain and arthritis. The researchers acknowledged that this study was limited by several factors, including the potentially insufficient dosage that could provide pain relief.
