Food supplement

CHOLIX

Composition: 1 film-coated tablet contains:

Bile dry extract - 80 mg,

Allium sativum L. extract - 40 mg,

Activated carbon - 25 mg,

Thick Urtica dioica L. extract - 5 mg.

Excipients: dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, film coat (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, titanium dioxide, diethyl phthalate, ethyl cellulose, quinoline yellow lake), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP K 30), coat (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol 6000, titanium dioxide, talc, ethyl cellulose), talc, sodium benzoate (E211), magnesium stearate (E572).

Characteristics of components:

Allium sativum L.:

• - stimulates the secretory and motor function of the gastrointestinal tract
• - activates the secretion of bile, prevents the formation of cholesterol concretions;
• - has a hypolipidemic effect (helps to reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels and increase the high density lipoprotein levels)
• - suppresses fermentation processes in the intestine, promotes development of normal intestinal flora;
• - prevents damage to the liver and gall bladder;
• - prevents growth of pathogenic flora, exhibits significant bactericidal, antifungal, antimicrobial effects;
• - has an immunomodulatory effect due to the high content of vitamins, trace elements and phytoncides;
• - has expressed detoxification and antioxidant properties.

Urtica dioica L.:

• - has a choleretic effect;
• - has an anti-inflammatory effect;
• - improves regenerative processes in the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract
• - normalizes lipid metabolism in the body.

Dry bile:

• - takes an active part in the processes of digestion (activates the enzymatic activity of the pancreas and gastric juice, as well as the motility of the gastrointestinal tract);
• - participates in lipid metabolism processes by regulating fat and cholesterol emulsification processes;
• - has a bacteriostatic effect, prevents growth and reproduction of pathogenic flora;
• - promotes the assimilation of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K)

Activated carbon

• - adsorbent, has a high surface activity and high sorption capacity;
• - reduces absorption of toxic substances from the digestive tract;
• - adsorbs gases in the intestine and reduces flatulence.

Recommendations for use:

Cholix can be recommended as a source of biologically active substances that contribute to the normalization of biliary tract and liver, as well as contribute to improved digestion.

Contraindications: individual hypersensitivity to active ingredients, infancy, pregnancy and lactation; conditions associated with the risk of obstruction of the biliary tract (the presence of stones, spastic and obstructive phenomena in the biliary tract), acute inflammatory processes in the gastrointestinal tract and the organs of the hepatobiliary zone, as well as ulcerative processes in the stomach and duodenum, which are in exacerbation stage.

Method of administration: For adults it is recommended to use 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day after meals for 3-4 weeks, and then 1 tablet 2-3 times a day after meals for 1-2 months.

If necessary, on the doctor’s prescription the supportive course of application may be repeated 2-3 times with a break of 3 months. Usually, the first signs of improving the condition occur on 5-8 day after the start of application.

Duration of use: the further period of use and possibility of repeated courses should be discussed with your doctor.

Precautions for use: do not exceed the recommended daily dose (portion). The product is not a substitute for a balanced diet.

Release form: 10 tablets in a blister, 5 blisters in a pack. Quantity: 50 tablets.

Shelf life: 3 years from date of manufacture.

Storage conditions: store in the original manufacturer's package, in a dry place protected from light and humidity at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
